We develop technology based on software development with a high degree of versatility. Our main goal is to create and apply inexistent technologies in Chile and Latin America, with an emphasis on innovation in human-computer interaction.

What is Gled?
The company was born in 2007 when its founders participated within the framework of the UTFSM’s “Feria del Software”, releasing the first version of its software IVEO. Then they participated in the Emprendedores.NET Competition, organized by the 3IE Institute and Microsoft. After the success in both activities, besides the critical acclaim received from both academia and business, they decide to continue the entrepreneurship, and so, after incubated in the 3IE Institute, the company formally born in June 2008 as Gled Ltda.
Today is a New Venture, a milestone achieved after completing the prototype development period and getting a Seed Capital Fund of CORFO’s Line 1. Also within Gled achievements in the year 2009 is listed to have finished with the development of the desktop version of IVEO; To have completed sales of the desktop version to Salo S.A. and Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, to have developed and tested the Web version of IVEO, and having sold the Web version of Iveo to the agency Fauna.

Iveo
It is an extensible software platform that implements Augmented Reality (AR) and that allows us to easily develop solutions with this technology. IVEO allows us to create various applications, for example an educational book of the human body that if you get close with the camera, you can see from every angle a 3D model of the heart, or a shopping magazine where a video of a virtual vendor appears, and he mentions all of the available offers. As a result, we can deliver a high value to the areas of advertising, entertainment and education.
Iveo Desktop
Because it is installed on a computer, allows us to build applications far more powerful than its Web based brother, and does not require an Internet connection to work, but if there’s one available, it can be automatically updated.
Iveo Web
Being an online application, has the advantage of bringing augmented reality to any computer that has an Internet connection, regardless of your operating system or Web browser.
